Our Performance Training program is designed for athletes between the ages of 12 and 18. This approach incorporates state-of-the-art technology and leads to improved speed, strength, and power. Depending on their age and performance level, participants are placed in one of two groups.
Performance Training I
This group is for athletes looking for base-level strength training. Athletes will be trained to perform drills and mechanics at a higher level. The typical age range for this group is 12-14.
Performance Training II
This group is for athletes with numerous years of training experience. Athletes are required to perform at a high level of intensity. Athletes perform more advanced exercises in both lifting and running. The typical age range for this group is 14 to 18.
Sessions are one hour and include:
Linear Speed Sessions – These sessions focus on starts and top-speed acceleration. Proper mechanics and efficient running is a key focus.
Change-of-Direction Sessions – These sessions focus on agility and an athlete’s ability to decelerate and move in any direction quickly.
Upper-Body Strength Training Sessions – Athletes perform strength training for upper-body power and to prevent injuries.
Lower-Body Speed-Specific Strength Sessions – Athletes perform lower- body exercises to improve in their specific sport.
Performance Training is designed to:
